PROJECT X

"Project X is the secret codename for a series of epic, musical tributes to the early, classic Capcom Mega Man games.* In 2001, Phase 1 of the project was completed as the robo-musicians released 15 new arrangements of songs from the Mega Man 3 soundtrack. In 2002 the people of the world once again rejoiced, as Phase 2 of Project X took full effect! After nearly a year of hibernation in their energy chambers, the robotic duo emerged to tackle the complete Mega Man 2 soundtrack... for the good of mankind." Nick, the host of Super Radio X, makes up half of Project X.

91.5 FM WRBC

WRBC was the FM radio home of SUPER RADIO X for years. Bates College Radio pumps out quality audio 24/7. If you're not in the Lewiston, Maine area (and who is?), you can tune in via their webstream on their website. Check them out.

DJ PRETZEL'S OVERCLOCKED REMIX

OCRemix is "a website dedicated to reviving the video and computer game music of yesterday, and reinterpreting that of today, with new technology & capabilities. This site's mission is to prove that this music is not disposable or merely just background, but is as intricate, innovative, and longevous as any other form." This site provided the bulk of the music played on Super Radio X. If you like video games, especially the oldies, you'll like this site.

CLICKERS

As Nick from Project X runs this site, Mike from Project X runs www.damnthatclickersmusic.org. Oh yes, he's also in the band! And he doesn't like to capitalize his letters! Those darn kids! From the site: "the sound of clickers' music can be compared to many things in elaborate and clever ways, but we can also get straight to the point and tell you that we have two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer, and sometimes one of us plays keyboards. three of us sing, but not necessarily all at the same time. if you had to write a school paper about clickers, you could title it 'clickers: a post-punk band from boston' and that would be fairly accurate."

NINTENDORKS

This is one of the best video game websites out there, and the only one that links to us! They have news, reviews, previews, all the standard stuff, that's all well written and often hilarious. They also used to have an internet radio station called NDork radio that sometimes played Project X stuff. Check them out.

NITRO GAME INJECTION

This is a video game music and talk radio show done by a guy named Kyle from our message board. Unlike Super Radio X, his show is actually still on the air sometimes! Check it out.

VIDEO ARMAGEDDON GAME OVER

Another game music show done by another guy from our boards, John the Neighborhood Psycho. You may remember him as a bit player on Super Radio X back in the golden years. Now he does his own game music radio show in addition to his long-running metal show "Megatrends in Brutality" on 91.5 FM WRBC in Lewiston, Maine.
